Food Vendor Concessionaire Application Information

Thank you for your interest in being a Concessionaire at the 2026 Nez Perce County Fair. Please review the information below and completely fill out the online application. Please note that when you sign your application, you are certifying that you have read this information. The application is neither an offer nor a guarantee of space. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at either (208) 743-3302 x201 or countyfair@npcfair.org. The Concessionaire Handbook is also available on our website. Please review the rules contained within that document prior to submitting an application.

Our four-day fair brings in an attendance of approximately 24,000 people

APPLICATIONS AND SELECTION: We will begin accepting applications on or about March 2, 2026. All applications should be completed online.

The application must list a complete menu that includes the name of item, description, quantity give and price. Any product not listed will not be sold. Fair management reserves the right to prohibit the selling of any item that infringes on the menu items of another vendor.

The Nez Perce County Fair strives to offer a wide variety of high-quality, family-friendly food options. Because space is limited, not all applications can be accepted. Vendors are selected based on the following considerations:

*Cuisine Variety & Specialty – We look for unique menu items that add diversity to the fair and help create a well-rounded mix of offerings.
*Quality & Presentation – The overall appeal, booth or trailer setup, and attention to cleanliness and customer service are important factors.
*Experience & References – Past experience at the Nez Perce County Fair or other fairs, festivals, or similar events, along with references, that demonstrate a vendor’s ability to manage high-volume service, maintain food quality, and keep customer lines moving efficiently.
*Infrastructure Needs – space, power, water, and compatibility with fairground resources
*Space Availability – balancing vendor requests with layout and crowd flow.
*Local vs non-local – local vendors are encouraged to apply and their presence is valued; however, local status will be considered as one factor among many, not the sole or deciding factor.

Management reserves the right to select concessionaires in the best overall interest of the fair, taking into account the full range of factors above.

Applications are due by April 15, 2026. Initial concessionaire selections and placements will be made shortly thereafter based on the applications received by the deadline. Applications submitted after April 15 will be reviewed and considered only if space remains available.

NEW IN 2026: All food concessionaires must accept credit cards as a form of payment.

If a space is offered, it is anticipated that contracts will be issued the first part of May. If a contract is awarded, a signed contract will be due by June 1, 2026.

For the best interest of the fair, management reserves the right to assign booth locations at their discretion. Efforts are made to give previous fair exhibitors/vendors their first choice of location but it is not guaranteed. All applications must include a picture (preferred) or sketch of the proposed booth or trailer set up.

A deposit of $300 will be due at the time the application is approved. This deposit will be applied to your total amount due at the conclusion of fair. All food vendors will be charged 20% of their after-tax sales (total sales – sales tax = commissionable amount). We will not charge additional fees for power, etc., the 20% commission will cover all of those fees.

RV SPACES can be requested with the online application. It is anticipated that only dry camping spots along 14th Avenue will be available.

Non Food Vendor Application Information

Thank you for your interest in being a Non-Food Vendor at the 2026 Nez Perce County Fair. Please review the information below and completely fill out the application. Please note that when you sign your application, you are certifying that you have read this information. The application is neither an offer nor a guarantee of space. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at either (208) 743-3302 x201 or countyfair@npcfair.org. The Vendor Handbook is also available on our website. Please review the rules contained within that document prior to submitting an application.

We are always looking for companies with new product lines, popular markets, and the willingness to join us as partners in making a professional and financially successful fair. Our four day fair brings in an attendance of approximately 24,000 people.

APPLICATIONS AND SELECTION: We will begin accepting applications on or about March 2, 2026. All applications should be completed online.

Fair management will review and select exhibitors/vendors based on, but not limited to, the following criteria: a positive history with the Nez Perce County Fair and/or other venues; the type of products sold or displayed; the date the application is received. All vendors are required to submit an application for consideration.

The first round of vendor selection will take place in mid-April. In light of this, we ask that applications be submitted by April 15, 2026. After April 15, we will continue to accept applications on a space available basis. If you are offered a space, it is anticipated that contracts will begin to be issued the first part of May. A credit card will be required when completing your online application. However, it will not be charged at that time. If your application is approved, you will receive an email that you have been approved along with a date that your booth fee will be charged. If the whole amount is not able to be charged, the fair office will work with vendors. At minimum, 50% of the contract amount must be paid at the time the contract is issued and the remainder is due no later than August 1, 2026.

For the best interest of the fair, management reserves the right to assign booth locations at their discretion. Efforts are made to give previous fair exhibitors/vendors their first choice of location but this is not guaranteed. All applications must include a picture (preferred) or sketch of the proposed booth or trailer set up.

All vendors are expected to follow the rules and guidelines in the handbook. Failure to do so will jeopardize the vendor being awarded a booth at future fairs.

PRODUCTS TO BE SOLD: The application must list all products to be sold or displayed during the fair. The list must be complete. Generic descriptions such as crafts, T-shirts, hats, novelties, jewelry, etc. will not be accepted. Any products not listed on your contract will not be allowed to be sold. Fair Management reserves the right to prohibit the selling of any item to ensure variety among vendors. Variety of products will also be taken into account when assigning vendor booth spaces. No weapons (knives, etc) are to be sold. The Fair reserves the right to require removal of any objects which are, in the opinion of Fair Management, found to be offensive, hazardous or adversely affect the Fair’s image. Any changes to the approved list of items to be sold must be requested in writing by August 1. A written notice of the decision will be returned to the vendor.

NEW IN 2026 Lifelike guns, water guns, and swords are not permitted. Additionally, even if an item has been approved on the contract, vendors must immediately remove any item upon request by Fair Management or local law enforcement.

RV SPACES can be requested with the online application.

To apply, submit the Non-Food Vendor Application and write “Educational Booth” across the top or indicate Educational Booth in the other line on the online application. Applications must be submitted each year for consideration (they do not roll over from previous years). Organizations qualify for a free booth every fourth year, but may purchase a booth in other years.

The purpose of the educational booths are to allow organizations/agencies within our community to educate the fair-going public on their mission.
