2024 FAIR 4-H/FFA RV PARKING INFORMATION AND RULES
The Nez Perce County Fair RV Parking areas are managed and controlled under the RV Parking Rules and Regulations of the Nez Perce County Fair Board
Application Information:
- Applications must be submitted via our online system between July 15 and August 5, 2024. All applications must be submitted via our online system. Spaces will be assigned in mid August.
- Due to limited space, RV Parking is only available to 4-H or FFA families of members who are exhibiting animals, barn and open class superintendents and animal project leaders. There is a limit of One (1) RV Space per exhibitor family.
- Payment of $85 must be submitted at the time of application. If application is not accepted, a refund will be made to the credit card used at the time of application.
- Rules are attached and must be abided by.
- Sections/Spaces may be requested must are not guaranteed.
- Spaces will assigned in the following order:
1st Priority:
Lead Barn Superintendents (4-H/FFA and open class)
Leaders and exhibitors whose residence is 15 miles (one way) or further from the Fairgrounds. Google Maps will be used to determine mileage.
2nd Priority:
Leaders and exhibitors whose residence is less than 15 miles (one way) or further from the Fairgrounds. Google Maps will be used to determine mileage. Consideration is given based on space availability, distance of residence from the Fair, RV Size, etc.
- You will be asked for the measurements of your RV. Please measure according to the pictures below. We will also ask for the width any pull outs.
2024 FAIR RV PARKING RULES & REGULATIONS
- RV PARKING AREAS: There are four RV Parking Areas: The West End (40 ft & Under only); The East End, along 14th Ave and Overflow. There will be no RV Parking in any other areas. Per City of Lewiston Ord. Numbers 3606, 4125, and 4205. Briefly stated the code indicates that any vehicle parked in violation of these ordinances may be, without notice to the owner of such vehicle, be towed by law enforcement of the City of Lewiston to an impoundment area, and kept at such impound area until all towage charges are paid by the owner or person entitled to possession of the said vehicle.
- RV PARKING MOVE-IN SCHEDULE AS FOLLOWS:
- West-End RV Lot
Rows A & C: Friday, September 13 and Saturday, September 14 between 8:00 am- 7:00 pm
Row B: Sunday, September 15 and Monday, September 16 between 8:00 am-7:00 pm
- East-End RV Lot
This area is still under construction and the map will be finalized once we get approval from the Fire Marshal. Move in dates will be between September 13 and September 16, but exact dates per row will be determined when the layout is finalized. You will be given exact dates and times when spaces are assigned.
- Overflow RV Lot
The overflow map is still being finalized. Move in dates will be between September 13 and September 16, but exact dates per row will be determined when the layout is finalized. You will be given exact dates and times when spaces are assigned.
- Along 14th Ave
Friday, September 13-Monday, September 16 between 8:00 am – 7:00 pm
NO Permits are needed. All campers must check in with attendant during move-in. RVs can not be removed until after 5:00 PM Sunday and must be removed no later than 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 24.
- FIRE LANES – RV and/or any other vehicle will not extend, in any manner, into the designated fire lanes.
- WATER IS AVAILABLE FOR FILL-UP ONLY: No stationary water hookups allowed during fair week. There are NO POTABLE WATER hookups in the West or Overflow areas.
- ELECTRICAL HOOKUPS are only provided in the East-End and West End RV Parking areas, but may be limited. ELECTRICAL HOOK UPS ARE NOT GUARANTEED IN THESE AREAS. No electrical in the Overflow or 14th Avenue area.
- GENERATORS must be turned off by 10:00 PM and not turned on before 7:00 AM per Lewiston City Code 24-45.
- ALCOHOL AND CONDUCT: No alcoholic beverages are allowed anywhere on the Fairgrounds or on property the Nez Perce County Fair Board has been approved to use during the Fair for fair purposes. Drugs, weapons, fighting, lewd conduct, recklessness, will not be permitted. Disorderly conduct will not be tolerated as well as damage and/or destruction of property.
- MINORS must have a parent or designated adult chaperone in the same camping space for overnight stays.
- FIRES: Fully contained barbecue grills and camping stoves are okay. No Open Fire pits will be allowed.
- NO PETS, with the exception of service animals and those involved in Fair performances/demonstrations, no pets are allowed on the fairgrounds or any RV Park area.
- ENFORCEMENT: Anyone found in violation of any RV Parking Rules and Regulations may have their RV camping privileges revoked in future fairs and other actions deemed appropriate by the Nez Perce County Fair Board and/or Management.
- CANCELATION: If RV Reservation is cancelled prior to August 15, a full refund will be given. If cancelled between August 16 and September 1, a 50% refund will be given. After September 1, no refund will be given.
- HOLD HARMLESS: By submitting a application, applicant agrees to indemnify, release, defend and save harmless the Nez Perce County Fair Board, its Board of Directors, Nez Perce County, its Commissioners, and the officers, agents, and employees of each of them harmless from any claims of loss, damage, injury, liability claim or expense of any nature whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the performance of this agreement.
- ACKNOWLEDGMENT: By submitting the RV Application Form, I hereby acknowledge that I have received and read the RV Parking Rules and Regulations by the Nez Perce County Fair Board which apply to all areas the Nez Perce County Fair Board utilizes for the use of RV Parking during the Nez Perce County Fair. I accept responsibility for all occupants in the assigned RV Space and that any violation of said RV Parking Rules and Regulations may result in loss of future RV camping privileges and other action deemed appropriate by the Nez Perce County Fair Board.
